Join the the IFS annual Walkathon and Christmas-themed festivities on Saturday, 7 December 2024!
Dedicated parent volunteers and Terminale students from the IFS Groupe Humanitaire have organised a variety of exciting attractions for everyone to enjoy.

The Walkathon is more than just a stroll—it’s a fun-filled day with exciting sports challenges, fun and festive Christmas activities, and delicious food and drinks. It’s the perfect chance to connect with friends and family while making a difference by supporting worthy organisations. And to add to the festive spirit, Santa himself might make a special appearance!

- Purchase Walkathon T-Shirts: These are available in adults’ and children’s sizes. The sales proceeds will be donated to the named charities.

Expect music and dance performances by our primary and secondary students, along with a variety of engaging activities including climbing, chess, ping pong, basketball, football, kite workshops, face painting, holiday arts and crafts, and much more!

Christmas Garage sale :
- Do you have excess Christmas decorations, toys, clothing & accessories, trinkets and other bric-a-brac in good condition that you no longer use?
- Rent-a-table for $50 and sell your second-hand items at the IFS Walkathon Vide-Grenier / Garage sale, for an eco-friendly holiday season!
- The fees paid will be donated to the chosen charities.

– From 2 to 6 December at specific times in the primary and secondary campuses.
a. Primary campus from 8:00 am to 9:00 am & 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm (Fridays : 12:30 to 5:00pm)
b. Secondary campus from 7:20 am to 8:00 am & 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm (Fridays : 12:30 to 5:00pm)

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the focal point of the Walkathon?
Participants are encouraged to walk around the stadium as many times as they can. Our goal is to be able to walk 6,000 laps (cumulative efforts, of course!) We have ways to track our laps.
Who are the eligible participants?
Current IFS students and their families are welcome to come to do the Walkathon and enjoy the fun-filled afternoon. Parents are requested to accompany their kindergarten-aged kids and younger especially during the walk.
How can we participate?
Walking around the stadium is free. You can help us raise funds for our charities by purchasing Walkathon t-shirts, tickets, books and other merchandise available onsite.
All the sales proceeds will be donated to them.
Is it a must to buy a t-shirt?
A way to help us raise funds is to purchase a Walkathon t-shirt. Although you are welcome to come in your sporty attire on that day.
What can I do with the ticket?
Tickets are sold in bundles of $5 and $10. A ticket entitles you to access the different sports challenges, games and other fun activities (photos with Santa, anyone?). A ticket enables you to purchase snacks & drinks and arts crafts made by our Elementary students.
Are the activities suitable for kids of all ages?
Activities and other animations are curated to suit younger children up to the young-at-hearts. Age restrictions will apply to certain challenges for safety reasons.
Apart from fun & games, are there other things to do?
You are welcome to listen to the music performances of IFS choir students and adult singing groups. Feel free to buy yourself a book or 2 (make that 10!) at our Book Fair. Catch a bargain at one of the garage sale stalls.
Are there water stations available?
Water dispensers are available at the venue. Please bring your water bottle.
How can I pay?
T-Shirts and Tickets –we accept payments in cash and via paynow.
Book fair and Garage sales- on a cash basis and payments direct to the sellers.
What about the charities?
Children’s Wishing Well, Willing Hearts and aLife are charitable organizations based in Singapore. They are chosen by IFS Terminale students as part of their Education morale et civique . IFS follows and adheres to the legal guidelines for the nomination of the beneficiaries.
What is a Garage sale?
It is a sale of pre-loved items. IFS Parents are urged to participate in the school-based garage sale. Register your interest via the form.
How can we access the venue?
Participants will enter via Gate 2 of AMK 3000 Campus. There’s no parking facility on the campus and very limited slots nearby.
