INTERNATIONAL FRENCH SCHOOL (SINGAPORE) AWARDED CHARITY TRANSPARENCY AWARD 2019
Last night, the International French School (Singapore) was awarded The Charity Transparency Award 2019, for showing good governance and good disclosure practices related to the administration of the funds received through donations. test
Presented by Dr Ang Hak Seng, Deputy Secretary, Commissioner of Charities in the presence of Guest of Honour Grace Fu, Minister for Culture, Community and Youth the award was accepted on behalf of IFS by Corrine Petit, IFS Secrétaire Générale at a ceremony organised by the Charity Council.
The only K to 12 educational institutions to be honoured at the 2019 ceremony, this award recognises organisations who communicate information to their stakeholders in a transparent and timely manner.
IFS met all the awards’ criteria for good governance and disclosure practices. We have always sort to adhere to the very strictest and highest standards of governance assuring the IFS community that their donations are put to purposeful use. This award is a welcome honour and recognition of those efforts.
The Charity Transparency Awards are a part of the broader scheme of the Charity Governance Awards that are an initiative by the Charity Council.
