PEAC talk with Alexandra Colineau
Friday 21 March @ 19:00 - 22:00

How do we look at an image?
With Alexandra COLINEAU, journalist and documentary filmmaker, we will explore the images that flood our daily lives, shape our imagination, and reveal so much about our world and society.
Over time, we have stopped questioning their origins—they are simply there.
However, the arrival of artificial intelligence has disrupted this habit, raising new questions about the status of these images. Who creates them? How are they used, reframed, or even invented?
Drawing on her experience as editor-in-chief of ARTE’s magazine “Le Dessous des images” and her work in investigative journalism, Alexandra COLINEAU will help us take a fresh look at these images—whether they are photographs, videos, or deepfakes—and better understand their impact.
Friday 21 March at 7 PM – Amphithéâtre 2900
