Summary
The company DiX!T employs people who moderate the contents published on social networks. In the open space, Marc, Lily, Louis, Mona, Wilbur and Alexa are permanently confronted with the worst that humanity can offer. Their task is to allow or remove content according to a set of rules imposed by the major social networks.
Thanks to Azilys Tanneau’s play, we go through the looking glass to discover the daily life of these people. For a moment, we see how this permanent confrontation with the worst gradually erodes their lives, their view of the world, how this profession isolates them from the rest of society. These men and women do not remain senseless: one of them will eventually break down…

Azilys Tanneau was born in Châteauroux in 1996. During her studies at Sciences Po, she studied sociology and political science, as well as writing in the workshops of Laurence Tardieu and Nicolas Doutey. She also trained as a scriptwriter at the University of Paris-Nanterre.
In September 2020, she participated in the European Theatre Writing Workshop of the Ville Nouvelle d’Avignon. It was during this residency that she began writing Without Moderation(s) (Sans Modération), a text that won an award for the author of the Journées du théâtre lyonnais and that will help the creation of Artcena in 2021.
