To explore this theme further, IFS is pleased to welcome Lola Quintin, a mediator at the Shoah Memorial and an authority on propaganda and the political manipulation of events by authoritarian regimes.
She will be conducting a talk open to the IFS community.

Her presentation will delve into the origins of the Games and their foundational ideals, offering a contextual framework for the event. Lola will provide a detailed examination of the 1936 Berlin Olympics and will focus on exploring instances of discrimination and movements within certain Games.
The talk will be moderated by Terminale students, Morgane Boucard et Camille Bénard.
About Lola Quintin
Lola Quintin is a cultural mediator working at the Shoah Memorial in Paris, a museum and documentation center. She specialises in transmitting history and raising awareness about the issues related to the Holocaust. Lola studied Art History and cultural tourism, which allowed her to enter the museum field and mediation. She is passionate about her work and strives to educate and raise awareness among the public about the tragic events of the Jewsih genocide during World War II.
This direct interaction creates a stimulating learning environment, providing valuable insights into the political and societal issues surrounding the Olympic Games.
