The Students of 2nde Atelier Theatre Are Proud to Present an Original Adaptation of Romeo and Juliet

A modern rewriting of Shakespeare’s famous play

Everyone knows the story of Romeo and Juliet, the heirs of the two most powerful rival families in Verona, who fall in love with each other and end up dying because of their love. Joséphine Chaffin’s play offers us the opportunity to rediscover Shakespeare’s work through the eyes of a police investigation.

Through the interrogations of the two main witnesses, interspersed with flashbacks that retrace the events since Juliet and Romeo met, the audience learn about all the elements that lead to their tragic end.
