🔬 Diving into Genetics! 🧬
Our 1ere Biology students spent a day at the Science Centre laboratory for a unique experience: extracting and analysing their own DNA!
On the agenda:
🔹 Hands-on lab experiments
🔹 PCR method to amplify DNA
🔹 Gel electrophoresis to obtain their genetic profile
A full immersion into techniques used in biology and forensic science. An intense, hands-on day filled with discoveries that truly captivated our students! 🔍

🔎 Traces of Greek Mythology… in Singapore?
As part of their Latin course, our 3e students became real detectives during their visit to the Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM). Their mission? To uncover hidden Greek references in the city! 🏛️
And guess what? There are plenty! From architecture to statues and mythological symbols, Singapore is rich with references to Antiquity.This urban exploration highlighted the connection between mythology and modern times, underscoring its enduring influence in the world around us.
📜 “Si Alexandre n’était pas Alexandre, il aurait voulu être Diogène ou Bouddha.” A quote that reminds us that exchanges between East and West date back centuries… When Alexandre Le Grand reached India, he paved the way for a dialogue between Greek culture and Buddhism, shaping both the art and philosophy of the era.
A wonderful way to learn that Latin and ancient culture are not just relics of the past, but still resonate today… even in Singapore! ✨🌍

✨ Exploring Art at the Alliance Française! 🎨
Our 6e & 5e French Passerelle students had the opportunity to visit the “Amours” exhibition at the @afsingapour . ❤️
Guided through the artistic world of Antoinette Rozan, they discovered her journey and the meaning behind her works during a fascinating guided tour. 🖼️ With curiosity and attention, they explored the sculptures before taking part in interactive activities: an exploration booklet, a Memory game featuring her statues, and even creating their own aluminium figurines! ✂️
A wonderful cultural and artistic experience, greatly enjoyed by all.

So proud of our students from the choir who participated in @singtheatre’s “Vive 80s” charity concert celebrating classic French music from the 1980s at the @afsingapour. These young talents performed iconic 80s tracks, bringing energy and enthusiasm to the event alongside nearly 100 other artists.
Under the arrangement and direction of Julie Demange-Wodtke, the choir performed two iconic songs by Daniel Balavoine, "Tous les cris les SOS" and "L`Aziza". Additionally, the music option students performed "Ella, elle l`a", originally interpreted by France Gall.
Our IFS students had the opportunity to perform with professionals, contributing to an event that was both cultural and charitable, with the proceeds benefiting MusicFest@Singapore General Hospital.
The students truly made an impact with their talent, offering an unforgettable experience to the audience while supporting a noble cause.

✨ French Immersion at IFS ✨
We had the pleasure of welcoming Singaporean students from various schools who are learning French. Over the course of two days, they had the opportunity to follow our students’ schedules, attending their subjects, specialities, and options—just like real IFS students.
The golden rule? Students had to communicate exclusively in French—a challenging task that our guests embraced brilliantly. We all agree that French is a beautiful language (the most beautiful, right? 😉), though not the easiest to master. Congratulations to them for their dedication and efforts throughout this immersion!

We had the privilege of welcoming @LVMH to our premises for a conference on careers within the luxury group. This event was part of our students’ career guidance journey, offering them insight into the wide range of professions within HR, Finance, Retail, Supply Chain, and Marketing.
It was fascinating to hear from the speakers about their unique career paths and passion for excellence and to see that no journey is truly linear. We hope this conference inspired our students and helped them gain clarity in their choices, aspirations, and dreams!

🌿✨ A Night at the Zoo for our CE1 students! 🦁🌙
Spending a night at the zoo is an adventure the students won’t forget anytime soon! From the excitement of sleeping in a tent to discovering the cutest… and the most terrifying animals, it was an unforgettable experience.
The programme included observing nocturnal animals, listening to fascinating stories from the zookeepers, and of course, a night under the stars, lulled by the sounds of the wild. Now, each class is eagerly awaiting their turn to take part in this unique adventure, up close with nature.

Beach Volleyball in Cherating: An Unforgettable Week of Competition
The Beach Volleyball competition, held in Cherating, Malaysia, provided our students with an exceptional experience under the sun and in an idyllic setting. A huge thank you to @clubmedcherating for their warm hospitality and for making this event possible. 🌴
The students fully embraced this dream week, combining sports, relaxation, and camaraderie. The atmosphere was incredible, filled with positive energy, genuine smiles, and a strong drive to excel. 🤝😊
The results also met expectations, with great performances from both the girls and the boys. Special congratulations to Noémie and Naël, who won the attacker competition—a well-deserved achievement. Well done to both of you! 🏅👏
